I had the distinct honor in serving as the Phoenix Balanced Budget Amendment Planning Convention President in September of 2017.

This historic convention was the first of its kind since 1862 Washington Peace Conference, a convention of states gathered in an attempt to advert the Civil War.  Last year, delegates from 19 states came to Arizona and discussed creating rules for a single subject Convention of States to propose a balanced budget amendment to the US Constitution.  Please see the letter (left) that I received recently that commends my part in making that happen.

Additionally, all those pictured above (and many others not pictured) were critical in making this happen.  Any person can be a one-man show, but it is beyond rewarding to accomplish a big task in a short amount of time when you have a skilled and dedicated team.  Thank you, Arizona House staff for all your hard and effective work!
